1Winter Wonderland, Southwick’s Zoo, Mendon

2019: Nov 29th – Dec 29th, Weekends Only
FriSun: 4:30-9:30 PM

Train ride though the zoo, admire the light displays, meet with Santa Claus, find Rudy the Reindeer in the Adventure Maze, hang out with Christmas characters such as Frosty the Snowman. Limited exhibits open for the opportunity to see a few of the zoo’s animals. $20-$25 (Ages 2 and under free). Details here

2Night Lights & Winter Wonderland: Tower Hill Botanic Gardens, Boylston

Families with children will enjoy the scavenger hunts, a festive model train, discovery backpacks, hands-on Library activities, and more. General admission is $16/adult, $6 for ages 6-18, and free for ages 5 and under. Details here

3Christmas by Candlelight: Old Sturbridge Village

2019: Dec 6 through Dec 29: Weekends Only
Fri-Sun: 3 PM – 8 PM

History is recreated with a special Christmastime at Old Sturbridge Village. North Pole Village beautifully decorated, sleigh rides, gingerbread house contest, strolling Victorian carolers, roasting chestnuts, yule logs, mistletoe, period demonstrations and more. $28/adult, $14 ages 4-17, children 3 and under free. 4Bright Nights: Forest Park, Springfield

2019: Nov 27 – Jan 5
5 PM – 9 PM (select nights until 11 PM)
Closed Dec 2-3

3-mile drive-through amazing light display with additional attractions. $20-$25 per car. $3-off print-only coupon on website.  Details here

Inside Bass Pro is a decorated “Santa’s Wonderland” with a spread of decorations for children to explore. There are also crafts, games, and a free picture with Santa. Can be very crowded, so check the link below for information about reserving a pass. All activities free and photo is free. Details here

6Winterfest: Diamond Hill Park, Cumberland, RI

2019: Nov 30 – Dec 22 (Sat/Sun Only)
Sat: 5-9 PM, Sun: 5-8 PM

“Grinch Cave” to walk through as well as trackless train ride and pictures with characters (possible characters include Santa, Frosty, Grinch, Minions, and more). $5/person fee.
